The past three days have been wonderful but so tiring. The kids are loving the beach!! We found this great secluded spot to go on Monday evening. We saw the sunset and a huge Carnival cruise ship....Matthew was so excited!
We bought some nets for the kids, but I think Steven and I are having more fun with them than the kids. Steven saw a huge crab and yelled at me to bring the net....I ran out there with the net, almost had the crab, and then the stupid thing came after me!! I don't think I've ever gotten out of the ocean so fast.
Somehow Matt got a jellyfish sting...we don't remember him coming out of the water crying or anything, but he has a spot on his leg that is really hurting him. A woman on the beach said it was a jellyfish sting and that it's possible he got stung by a loose tentacle floating around. Poor guy, I hope he's better tomorrow so he can enjoy the water more.
Today we went to the outlet mall and had a great time. I could have spent so much more money than I did!! I took Emily to Stride Rite to get her some shoes fitted and found out that she wore a 6.5 WIDE!! I have been trying to squeeze that little girl's feet into a 4. No wonder I haven't been able to find any shoes! So now she has two well fitting pairs of shoes.
We got home from the outlet mall and we were dead on our feet. Steven cooked some steaks and we watched tv for a few minutes, put the kids to bed, and now we're getting ready to go to bed.
Tomorrow we plan on going to our new spot on the beach and just having fun all day!
